Chartered in 1946

The Elgin Jaycees provide the opportunity for young adults, both men and women, to develop personal and leadership skills through local community involvement and organizational involvement.

Jaycees are proactive young men and women who believe that positive impact in their community is the way to build a stronger nation. We work hard to sharpen our professional and interpersonal skills by running projects and programs in our community.  Skills obtained include business plan development, media relations, project management, problem solving skills and leadership.

As a project, the Elgin Jaycees have been working to bring the fireworks back to Elgin.  This website is our communication vehicle to the community about the progress of the project.
The Elgin Fireworks project, while run by the Jaycees, needs the help of the community.

This website is one of the communication vehicles to us. This site was created for the Elgin community.

If you would like to help out with the fireworks project, please let us know.
